The Largest Total Horned Bull in the World
Wyoming Warpaint has set another record after being recognized as the largest horned bull in the breed for many years at the Horn Showcase. 2008 offered JBR the opportunity to allow Warpaint to compete in every association that values horn champions in the breed, he journeyed to three locations, measured by three separate crews and was honored by the TLMA, the ITLA and the TLBAA as the largest horned bull ever on record. No bull has ever recorded such horn growth. Achieving the triple crown while competing with all the many great animals in the breed
The past five years he was recognized as the largest horned bull in the breed with an official measurement in 2008 of 103 3/8" total and over 70 3/4" ttt, and became the first Triple Crown Winner in History. In 2007 his sire Roundup (deceased), Warpaint and his son JBR Cash each won their respective class becoming the first time three generations won a prestigious show case bronze in one year.
Wyoming Warpaint has collected 13 bronzes at last count plus the many his progeny have accumulated (don't have an accurate count of them any more) although the number continues to grow each year.
As a side note the Warpaint progeny at public auction has averaged $10,000 over the past two years.
