I am happy to welcome you to Shamrock Valley Ranch. We are happy to call this piece of heaven on earth our home. Our three boys are close by and love spending time with our large family. The joys that are involved in traveling and seeing all of our friends around the country is great.
Barb and myself were honored to have the highest selling lot to be sold at public auction this year who was SDR Candy Cane for $170,000. That will give you one heck of a rush. On the other hand you can't beat walking through the herd in the evening and just enjoying God's beauty that is right there in front of you. We have been in the longhorn business for several years and just keeping falling more in love with the natural grace and excellence of these marvelous animals.
I am a carpenter/builder by trade and my lovely wife Barb is a nurse at a local hospital. The cattle started as a hobby and now it's one great business that we are ecstatic about.
Our cow herd has a strong influence of the Starlight cow the second longest officially measured cow in the Longhorn Breed. Through AI and ET we are growing our program to make it the best that it can be.
